Classes in folk magic, witchcraft & land lore for everyone…

I had attended other classes, however I never really felt that I was learning in a traditional way and understanding the knowledge of the old ways, which call to me. I felt that your teaching delivered all of that and more.

Hannah helped us put together my Father-in-law’s funeral. Firstly, Hannah is a fantastic listener. Part advisor, part councilor she allowed us to share dear moments, all the while subtly guiding us towards developing the perfect ceremony, and that’s her real skill. Without realising it we found we’d structured the perfect Requiem whilst being given the freedom, space and security to laugh, cry and remember, and for that we will be forever grateful.

Hannah makes you feel totally at ease and encourages questions and comments… Her knowledge about all things herbal and magical is second to none and I have learnt so much from her classes. I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to interact with Hannah. I would really recommend taking a class (…or 10) with her if you get the opportunity.

I am a cunning woman and longstanding practitioner of folk magic who with a doctorate in Cultural Studies. I have written articles and books on the iconography of the witch, the mainstreaming of magic and new religious movements, including The New Generation Witches: Teenage Witchcraft in Contemporary Culture and Children of the Green: Raising our Kids in Pagan Traditions. For over three decades I have been a teacher, a writer, a touring singer and witch with a passion for bringing ancient, living folklore to our everyday. I believe in deepening an awareness of our homes in order to find purpose and power. I believe in the sovereignty of the land, and all who dwell upon her. I believe that magic, courage and beauty effect positive change in the world.
Folklore is our language of the marvelous; it is time for us to remember it and welcome wonder and enchantment back into our lives.
